What Do I Need?
The RedEye system can control virtually all devices that receive infrared control signals — in other words, TVs, cable boxes, stereos, DVD players, VCRs, and much more. It consists of two pieces: an iPhone application, and a hardware device. The iPhone application is a free download from iTunes, and works with all iPhone or iPod touch models running iPhone OS 2.2.1 or later. The RedEye hardware is available through our online store and from select retailers.
Although not required, we recommend using the RedEye system with a Wi-Fi network that connects to the Internet.
- “Made for iPod” means that an electronic accessory has been designed to connect specifically to iPod and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards.
- “Works with iPhone” means that an electronic accessory has been designed to connect specifically to iPhone and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards.
