RedEye v2.9 is jam-packed with great new features

Check out some of the highlights available in version 2.9:

RedEye has embedded HTML content
  • Embedded HTML content. Embed HTML content into your activities, which is useful for advanced text styling, and even pulling in external web content using <iframe> tags. Create special hyperlinks within your HTML to invoke RedEye actions and scripts. Use hyperlinks to send HTML GET commands for integration with other automation systems.
  • Dynamic text labels. Create floating text labels and place them anywhere in your activity layout. Select font size, width, justification, and coloring. You can even update text dynamically using state variables (for example, to display current track name or other information), and turn labels into hyperlink-style buttons.
  • IP camera integration. Embed Motion-JPEG IP camera feeds directly into your layouts so that you can see what is going on before you take action. Full support for HTTPS and password protected feeds, tested with as many as 8 simultaneous streams.
  • Slider controls. Adjust volume, light dimming, and more using slider controls. Designed to work with devices the provide feedback such as RS-232 receivers and lighting systems, slider controls provide visual feedback as to current level and a simple way to adjust quickly across a wide range of values.

RedEye version 2.9 is available for download. Visit our Software page for links to download RedEye for iOS, Android and PC.

*A winner will be chosen for every thousand fans counted by the deadline; not to exceed 9 winners. For example, if we have a total of 7,650 fans we will award 7 RedEye Wi-Fi units; for 6,234 fans we will award 6 Wi-Fi units.
**Beginning Friday, November 4th, 2011 and each day leading up to Tuesday, November 8th, 2011, we will choose one winner to receive a t-shirt and glass based on who has the most followers/friends.
